UPDATED--U.S. auto sales--helped by big gains at Chrysler, Nissan and General Motors--overcame widespread economic jitters to rise 10 percent in September, raising hopes the industry's recovery will accelerate in coming months. The Fiat 500 Cabrio hits the US for Spring
Actually, we’re not completely convinced that the Fiat 500 cabrio (that’s Fiat 500 Convertible for those of us on the old continent who prefer real words) has hit the US. Because although Fiat has told us the 500 Cabrio hits the US ‘Just in time for spring’, it doesn’t say when US customers will start to get cars. Which may be a bit nit-picking, but there doesn’t seem much point saying it’s hitting in time for Spring when Spring’s a third done and there’s still no date.
Bentley - the Chinese can't get enough of 'em
In case you’re wondering, Hong Shao Rou is a Chinese dish of cubes of braised pork belly glazed with caramelised sugar and Shaoxing rice wine. It was Chairman Mao’s favourite dish and so, despite China’s headlong dive back in to post-Mao capitalism, is a dish much loved and much revered in China. A bit like Bentley.
